I am now retired and enjoying it reasonably well. For 35 years I practiced law involved primarily in the representation of individuals with disabilities. This led me to seek a place on Amistad’s board of directors, where I had served with Amistad’s predecessor organization in the 1980s. Amistad has seen a lot of changes since then, and I look forward to working to effect still more positive changes. Now that I’m retired and have more time for myself, I’m also writing poetry and cooking more. Though the poetry is mediocre and the cooking yields gastronomical monstrosities, I’m still having fun with it.
