Director of Peer Services
I started my journey with Amistad in 2012 as an intern at the Portland Peer Support and Recovery Center. I quickly discovered I belonged on this team of people who are able to show up and be truly authentic with other human beings, wherever they are on their own paths. My days are never the same – I could be listening to brilliant ideas of the leaders of our Intentional Peer Support and Recovery based programs, pushing forward with workforce development, training curriculum for Peer programming and services in Maine, or sitting in one of our several locations talking to someone on the toughest day they’ve had in a while. I consistently feel honored to be a part of this work. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, hiking or on/by the water, watching my three kiddos find their own way on this journey of life.
